On October 2nd at 7 pm we will present “FALL”, a cabaret benefiting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this benefit cabaret is our contribution.
It’s a Broadway showtunes cabaret, and we’re looking for a few more young musical theater performers from the NYC metro area. Many of our performers are students at New York’s performing arts high schools and colleges, and have professional aspirations. They’re extraordinary young performers!
If you’ve never performed at the Laurie Beechman, let me say a few words about it. The Laurie Beechman Theatre is downstairs from the West Bank Cafe. This charming and comfortable 100-seat cabaret venue has a state-of-the-art lighting and sound system and has been the home of some of the hottest Broadway and cabaret performers for over 30 years. For over 10 seasons, the Laurie Beechman was the home of Broadway Sessions.
We’re looking forward to performing at the Laurie Beechman a third time, and we’re looking forward to meeting some new singers and sharing this experience with them.
Participation in our cabarets is by application or by invitation only. Participation is limited to 12.
If this sounds like something you’d like to perform in, you can apply by clicking on the “Apply Now” button. The form includes additional information you’ll need before you can make a decision.
